Individual Pitch Control developments.

friday, september 12, 2014

The Energy Research Center of the Netherlands (ECN) is developing and testing together with Darwind an Individual Pitch Control (IPC) system to reduce loads on wind turbines.

Load reduction on wind turbine blades can lead to the design of larger blades, increasing the energy captured from the wind.
